Woe the Lovers

Piano Duet

This piece sounds like one musician playing the piano. It is in fact two pianists sitting closely together and completing one another’s melodies and harmonies. It is written so that the hands of both pianists are gently touching and constantly crossing to reflect the fluidity of physical touch. This second recording is performed by Attie and Yuan Wang at Salle Cortot in Paris.
